Paris, TX – April 8, 2008 – Turner Industries announced today that they will be adding at least 62 employees to the workforce at their Paris pipe facility over the next six months. This growth in workforce will coincide with improved, updated training facilities at Turner Industries, as well as updated training facilities in the welding department at Paris Junior College (PJC). PJC is partnering with Turner Industries to provide a specially-designed welder training curriculum to advance Turner employees at the tacker level to production level proficiency.
Paris, TX – April 22, 2008 – The Paris Industrial Park, located on Northwest Loop 286, is growing. With the purchase of two tracts of adjacent land, Paris Economic Development Corporation (PEDC) is adding about 38 acres to the Paris Industrial Park. The addition of these sites to the Park not only provides more land for industrial development, but also opens up a southern point of access to the Park.
